Mike Williamson – Chief Executive Officer & Director

Mike Williamson has 24 years of experience as a professional drilling/completions and production engineer in consulting and management positions at a number of successful oil and gas companies in Canada. He gained experience in leading edge Canadian oil and gas technologies by his involvement in horizontal drilling and multi-stage hydraulic fracturing of over 1,500 wells into more than 15 geologic formations and is a recognized leading expert in the application of these technologies. The companies he has worked for include Penn-West, Gibraltar Exploration, E3 Energy, E4 Energy, Magin Energy and most recently Angle Energy and Open Range Energy. Mike Williamson graduated from the University of Alberta in 1988 with a Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering and is a member of APEGGA.

Paul Starnino – President, Chief Operating Officer & Director

Paul Starnino has been involved in the oil and natural gas business for over 28 years, from a junior explorationist to a high energy, entrepreneurial leader with a highly respected track record for creating shareholder value. He was previously President/CEO of E3 Energy and E4 Energy, as well as VP, Exploration for both Crown Joule Exploration and Ravenwood Energy. He has founded and been directly involved in growing companies from 0 – 3,500 boe/d and involved as a Director for companies that have grown from 0 – 45,000 boe/d. Mr. Starnino has held Director positions with Starpoint Energy Trust, TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd. and Twin Butte Energy Ltd as well as E4 Energy and E3 Energy. He holds an Honors Degree in Physics from the University of Waterloo.

Gary Leonard – Chief Financial Officer & Director

Gary Leonard has 26 years of experience in financial positions with both junior-independent and major Canadian and American oil and gas companies with operations world-wide. Most recently he was the CFO of C&C Energy Canada Ltd. (subsequently known as C&C Energia Ltd., which traded on the TSX under symbol CZE-T) from 2006 through the closing of the IPO in 2010. Prior to C&C Energy, he held various positions at EnCana Corporation and ARCO. He has coordinated business on an international level, holding several management and financial positions in Canada, the United States, Europe, South America, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, and Africa. Gary Leonard graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1979, obtained his MBA from the Southern Methodist University in 1997 and is a Chartered Accountant.

Russ Jackson – Director and Co-Chairman

Russ Jackson is a Canadian entrepreneur who founded C&C Energy Canada Ltd. (now known as C&C Energia Ltd., trading on the TSX under symbol CZE-T). He served as a director of C&C Energy Canada Ltd. from its inception in 2005 to the closing of the IPO in 2010. He was a co-founder of Prospero Hydrocarbons, a private oil and gas exploration company focused in Colombia, which was acquired by Alange Energy in 2009. Currently, he serves as Chairman of Guatavita Gold Corporation, a private company that he co-founded in 2006 to explore for minerals in Colombia and as a director of Petro Occidente Capital Corp. (OPP.P-TSXV.). Russ Jackson was instrumental in assembling the management teams and securing the early equity financings for these companies.

Norman Mackenzie – Director and Co-Chairman

Norman Mackenzie has 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and was one of the founders of C&C Energy Canada Ltd. (now known as C&C Energia Ltd., trading on the TSX under symbol CZE-T). He served as Chairman and director of C&C Energy Canada Ltd. from its inception in 2005 to the closing of the IPO in 2010 and from the IPO in 2010 to 2012 as director of C&C Energia Ltd. He has been Director, Chairman and CEO of Terra Nova Energy Ltd. since March 2012. He was President and CEO of Raptor Capital Corporation, a public exploration and development company, from 1997 to 2005. In 1990 he was a founder of Scimitar Hydrocarbons Ltd, a public exploration and development company, where he served as Chairman from 1990 to 1995 and as a director until the company merged with Rally Energy Ltd in 2002. Norman Mackenzie received a B.A. in Economics and Law from The University of Cape Town in South Africa in 1969.

Scott Harkness - Director

Scott Harkness is a self-employed businessman who has been involved in the capital markets in various capacities for 18 years. He has served as a director and officer of several public companies and has represented and managed a private equity fund specializing in the resource sector for the last seven years. Scott Harkness is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an MBA from the University of Calgary.

Doug Porter - Director

Mr. Porter is CFO and director of Guatavita Gold Corporation, a privately-held junior mineral explorer focused in Colombia. He is also Managing Director of Porter Valuations Inc., a specialty business valuation firm providing valuation and financial consulting services to a broad spectrum of private and public companies throughout Western Canada. From 1997 to 2005 he was a Partner at Smith Cageorge Porter Inc., a specialty valuation firm. From 1990 to 1997 he held various positions with the Calgary office of Arthur Andersen where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary (1990) and the Chartered Business Valuator designation (1999). He is also a director and audit committee chair of Manson Creek Resources (TSXV) and Forent Energy Inc. (TSXV) and a director of Petro Occidente Capital Corp (TSXV).

Tomas Villamil - Director

Mr. Villamil is a Petroleum Geologist with more than fifteen years of industry experience. He is currently Executive Vice President, Exploration for C&C Energia Ltd. (CZE-T) and was one of the founders of the company in 2005. Prior to this he was an Exploration Manager with Lukoil Overseas Colombia and has also held positions with Ecopetrol and Conoco Colombia as an Exploration Vice President. Mr. Villamil holds a degree in Geology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In 2004, he was the recipient of the OC Wheeler award, the highest award granted to petroleum professionals in Colombia.

Dr. John R. Lacey – Advisor to the Board

Dr. Lacey is the President of John R. Lacey International Ltd., an international consulting firm since 1970. He has undertaken assignments throughout the world with particular emphasis in south-east Asia. He graduated with a PhD from London University in 1955. He was elected to the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences in 1996 and was made a Commandor of the Most Noble of the Crown of Thailand in 2001. He advises the Alberta Securities Commission through the Petroleum Advisory Committee and serves on a number of Boards.
